§ 20-160. Governmental service rate, G-3.

  • (a)

    Applicability. This schedule is applicable to electric service supplied to and paid for by any agency of the United States government which is exempt from the three (3) percent state sales tax on electricity.

    (b)

    Type of service. The town will normally supply the equipment necessary and will deliver to the customer, at one (1) delivery point mutually satisfactory to the town and the customer, sixty-cycle alternating current electricity at the town's standard voltages. Three-phase service will be supplied where requested, provided it is available generally at the location at which it is desired.

    (c)

    Rate. The schedule of rates applicable to this section shall be in an amount determined from time by the council and listed in the schedule of fees and charges maintained in the clerk's office.

    (d)

    Determination of demand. The kw demand used in determining the rates for subsection (c) of this section, shall be the highest average kw load measured in any interval during the current billing month.

    (e)

    Meter reading. Meters may be read in units of ten (10) kwh and bills rendered accordingly.
