§ 4-43. Demolition of structures.

(a)

Permit required. Before the demolition of any structure is begun, a verified application containing a statement of the facts in relation thereto and to the ownership and location thereof shall be submitted by the owner or his authorized representative to the building inspector, and a written permit for such operation shall be obtained from him. Such permit shall expire by limitation two (2) months from the date of its issuance.

(b)

Permit fee. A fee in an amount determined by the council from time to time and listed in the schedule of fees and charges maintained in the clerk's office shall be paid before any permit required by this section shall be issued.
