§ 2-141. Finding of facts.

The town council does hereby determine, declare and find as follows:
(1)

That blighted areas as defined in G.S. section 160A-503(2) exist within the corporate limits of the town.

(2)

That the redevelopment of such areas is necessary in the interest of the public health, safety, morals or welfare of the residents of the town.
